What is Communi-TEA?
Communi-TEA is our new membership model that will help us build events and spaces where everyone feels safe, supported, and free to be exactly who they are.
Why do we need it?
We don’t have an LGBTQIA+ community center or a true ‘gayborhood’ like other big cities in Texas. Communities that lack formal support have to find new ways to evolve and flourish. Through our parties with a purpose, it's The Equality Alliance’s goal to connect queer culture and events with giving back, and to bring those proceeds back into our local community.
Membership Options
50% of your contributions can be applied towards purchase of tickets to every TEA event throughout the year. So it's like layaway for the best parties in town!

What is the difference between price tiers?
Each tier comes with unique levels of access (discount or GA/VIP tickets) to annual TEA events.
Where do my dollars go?
Your monthly contributions support our beneficiary charities through our annual gift, as well as support the future growth and expansion of The Equality Alliance and our parties with a purpose.
Is my membership tax-deductible?
Yes! Membership dues for charitable organizations are deductible as long as the contribution has a higher monetary value than the benefits given in exchange.
What if I need to pause my membership?
If you would like to pause your membership, this may impact your event benefits, but contact The Equality Alliance at info@theequalityalliance.com to do this.
What events does my membership get me entry into?
Builders get 50% off all signature events, Trailblazers get a GA ticket to all signature events, and Icons get a VIP ticket to all signature events and pool parties.
Can I use a corporate match for my monthly membership?
Yes! Because different companies use different matching platforms with different processes, contact The Equality Alliance directly to discuss arranging a match for your desired membership level.
What if I buy a Unite the Fight table, will I be credited for my communi-tea membership ticket?
Yes. If you’d like to purchase a gala table, contact info@theequalityalliance.com and they will deduct/refund that membership ticket from your table cost.
Will I get the same benefits if I join later next year?
Contact info@theequalityalliance.com if you would like to join our communi-tea and we outline your benefits based on the month that you join.
